BEST
OF THE BEVERLY HILLS BACHELORS BITES THE BULLET AT THE BEVERLY
HILLS HOTEL
-- The wedding of the year took place at the Beverly Hills
Hotel when John L. Seitz, who has hosted
a table at the Southern California Assistance League Bachelors
Ball for 32 years, said I do to the lovely Caldwell
Read Sutherland. The Lester Lanin Orchestra,
who had just returned from an engagement for Queen Elizabeth saluting
her mother's 100th birthday, played nostalgic favorites, and there
was a surprise visit from Little Richard. This
was a gorgeous evening for a stunning couple. Congratulations
John & Caldwell!
DNADNA57
MAKES AN IMPRINT IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
-- The infamous maker of Jolt Cola, Wet Planet
Beverages, presented the world's only alcoholic spring water during
a premier tasting at W Hotels. DNA is pure water that has lost
its innocence, and is a drink that has been extremely well received
in Australia and the UK, where it was voted the summerÕs
coolest drink by two leading British newspapers. It is a refreshing
combination of natural spring water, fruit flavors and a 5% alcohol
base. The crystal-clear glass bottle is unmistakable, with its
luminous neon-green and black thumbprint. The distinctive thumbprint
has already won numerous accolades from advertising and design
groups, including the Clio award in 1996.
